The mission of the National Business Center is:


a) maintain a trade register in accordance with the law regulating business registration;

b) to perform registrations in the trade register, in accordance with the provisions of the law regulating business registration;

c) to carry out the registration of entities set forth in the law regulating business registration, for the purposes of fiscal registration, social security and health insurance as well as inspection of labor relations;

d) to issue certificates, extracts of registrations and certified copies of the deposited acts, as defined in the law regulating business registration;

e) Publish recorded data according to the law regulating business registration, as well as providing free public access to them;

f) Handles licensing, authorization or permitting procedures, their modification and revocation, according to the law regulating licenses, authorizations and permits;

g) maintain and administer the National Register of Licenses, Authorizations and Permits, in accordance with the law governing the licenses, authorizations and permits;

h) Provide free public access to the National Register of Licenses, Authorizations and Permits, in accordance with the law regulating licenses, authorizations and permits;

i) to inform and advise the persons concerned about the business registration procedures, as well as the licensing, authorization and permit procedures;

j) to give opinions on any legal or sub-legal initiative in the field of business registration and licenses, authorizations and permits;

k) conduct studies on the quality of the regulatory environment, supports the Minister, the Council of Ministers or central and independent institutions with information, analysis and advice regarding their normative and organizational initiatives in the field of business registration and licenses, authorizations and permits, as well as assisting in the preparation of policies to improve the regulatory environment in these areas.
